Did you know that there is a magical chocolate factory at the end of the world? In the spectacular surrounds of St. Finian’s Bay, on the coast of County Kerry, Skelligs Chocolate is made by hand. And the flavour is as good as the view!
Skelligs Chocolate is produced in the coastal village of The Glen, overlooking the UNESCO world heritage island of Skellig Michael. Founded by artisanal chocolatiers, the brand harnesses Ireland’s lush landscapes and dairy traditions. Skelligs uses single-origin cocoa beans and blends them with fresh Irish milk from Kerry cows. These cows graze on mineral-rich grasses, yielding milk with higher butterfat content—around 4%—which translates to a creamier texture.
At 33% cocoa butter content, Skelligs White chocolate is unusually “chocolatey” for a white chocolate. The texture is velvety smooth, complemented perfectly with the mild, creamy flavour with just a hint of maltiness.
