Here at Dalriata we like to think we’ve got teas for every taste. Strong, hearty brews to get you going in the morning, decaf for when you want to enjoy a cuppa without the caffeine, it’s all there. But sometimes tea isn’t quite what you’re looking for – although many an Irish mammy would disagree! When you’re looking to unwind at the end of a long day, or enjoy something warm and cosy on a cold, grey day, there’s nothing better than a good hot chocolate.  And so here we are with the classic – Cadbury’s Hot Chocolate.

There’s something uniquely comforting about this stuff that other cocoa and drinking chocolate can’t quite match. Sure, it’s not hard to find drinking chocolate in Germany, but we’ve never found a real substitute for good old Cadbury’s. That’s why we had to start bringing it in! Now you can buy it right here at Dalriata.

Making a delicious warm mug of Cadbury’s Hot Chocolate couldn’t be simpler. Just heat up some milk (preferably full-fat for maximum creamy goodness) and stir in a few teaspoons of this cocoa powder. In just a few seconds, you’ll have a rich, smooth drink that will warm you up like nothing else. If you really want to get indulgent, feel free to drop in a couple of marshmallows, or even add a dollop of whipped cream on top. Clotted cream, on the other hand, may be going too far!

It doesn’t have to be a hot drink either. Cadbury’s Hot Chocolate can also be used to make a delicious chocolate milkshake. It really hits the spot on a warm day, especially if you throw in a scoop of ice cream. Summer or winter, chocolatey goodness is always in season.

If you grew up on this stuff, it’s like drinking a great big mug of nostalgia. Not too sweet, and certainly not bitter – if Goldilocks drank hot chocolate, this one would be her choice, because it’s just right!
