Lightly smoked Irish bacon rashers.

Clonakilty’s Beechwood Smoked bacon rashers are made from premium Irish pork. First, the top quality back bacon is dry cured to ensure maximum flavour and no added water. Then the bacon is lightly smoked with beechwood for a more complex and intense flavour. These beechwood smoked back bacon slices are slightly thinner than our Mild Cure Bacon Rashers, which means they’re extra crispy and tasty when fried in the pan. Of course, if you prefer your bacon tender and juicy, simply give them a little less time in the frying pan!

Some people prefer to grill rather than fry their bacon. Perhaps to reduce fat in their diet, or maybe because they simply prefer the flavour that way. Our Clonakilty Beechwood Smoked Bacon Rashers are just as tasty grilled as fried, and ready to enjoy in minutes.

Clonakilty Beechwood Smoked Irish bacon rashers are perfect in a cooked breakfast – yes, Irish pork works in a full English too! Or for something a little lighter, they’re also the ideal main ingredient in a good old bacon butty. You can even slice them up and use them to liven up classic pasta dishes such as bolognese, or add them to salads. Soups, stews and casseroles will also benefit from a little bacon magic. And of course, who doesn’t love pigs in blankets?

Clonakilty’s Beechwood Smoked bacon rashers have been a firm family favourite all over Ireland for many years, and the name has become synonymous with top quality products every time.  We know that since Brexit, many people all over Germany are missing their British Bacon. At Dalriata, we believe we’ve found the perfect replacement, and by importing it from Ireland we can bring you the flavour you know and love.

Vacuum packed and quick frozen to ensure maximum freshness and flavour.
